Luneta Park
Rizal Park (Filipino: Liwasang Rizal), also known as Luneta National Park or simply Luneta, is a historical urban park in the Philippines. Located along Roxas Boulevard, Manila, adjacent to the old walled city of Intramuros.

Jose Rizal Execution spot is located 90 meters from Jose Rizal Monument
Jose Rizal walked from Fort Santiago to Bagumbayan Field (now the Luneta). Rizal was ready and calm, took his position opposite his executioners. His last words were those of Jesus Christ: "consummatum best", -- it is finished.
30 December, 7:03 AM: And even the moment of his fall, Rizal turns his body so that he ends up lying on his back, with his face to the sun. He was secretly buried in Pacò Cemetery in Manila with no identification on his grave.
This is the last destination of our travel to Rizal's important places. I've gone to Luneta Park so many times but after we went and know the story behind, the life and works of Rizal, I felt sad because of what happen to our National hero. He's innocent but then he was killed by the Spaniards.
Tho his death was one of the final catalysts which set in motion the Philippine Revolution. The victorious Philippine revolutionaries will seal the fate of the Spanish Empire in the east. Three hundred thirty three years of Spanish Colonialism ended in 1898.
