Cuartel España is a Spanish barracks (cuartel de España) in Manila circa. The trial took place at Cuartel de España, a military building, with a court composed of seven military officers headed by Lt. Col. Jose Togores Arjona.

Fort Santiago- Rizal Shrine

The Rizal Shrine in Fort Santiago was built in honor and dedicated to the lifework of the Philippine’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Fort Santiago in Intramuros used to be a Spanish military fortress that imprisoned many Filipinos and Americans during the Spanish Colonial Period and World War II. The most famous prisoner was Rizal.

The defense fortress is part of the structures of the walled city of Manila referred to as Intramuros ("within the walls").
